After the first day of getting to know San Francisco, my feet hurt. Lets be frank, seeing a National Park is so much easier than exploring a city. When you enter the park, you get that map from the National Park Service with streets and lookout points clearly marked. In San Francisco we got a map as well, but there are so many streets and no artists point, no hidden falls, no emerald pools. How should I know where to go and what to see ... Can you imagine how glad I was when I discovered tonight, on the way back to the hotel, that there is an Inspiration Point quite close to where we stay? Right in the Presidio. I do feel much better now.
