On the drive from Yosemite to San Francisco I got to read that 'Travel California' book I took onto the journey. Its really interesting to learn how California always seems to fall onto its feet. First with the gold, then with the oil and the movies and today with the computers and the Internet.

Actually I just wanted to read up on San Francisco, but there were all these pointers to Californian history. I have only been in the City for a few hours now, but I think I can feel the difference ... this place does have a history.
