Alcatraz is a National Park ... Strange somehow, that the harshest prison of its time is turned into a Park after less than 40 years, without any fundamental policy change in the government.

I also learned there that half the convictions in the US today are for drug related crimes. During the prohibition it was a similar percentage for alcohol related offenses. Makes one think ... Cheers!
