Driving from Las Vegas to Grand Canyon was slightly more time consuming than expected. Today, I drove for the first time with our Dodge. Four hours: over Hoover Dam, on the highway and through a massive thunderstorm ... no pain no trouble ... (compulsive driving?)

Once we had arrived in Grand Canyon Village, we just managed to setup the tent before the next thunderstorm hit ... Somehow we had managed to pitch the tent a full foot *away* from the little river which quickly developed.
